How AI BaZi reading works

A BaZi reading has two very different parts. The first is calculation: turning a birth date, time and place into four pairs of heavenly stems and earthly branches, then working out the ten-year luck pillars. The second is interpretation: explaining what that structure suggests about temperament, work, relationships and timing.

BaZi Agent keeps the two apart. The calculation runs in code — the same engine behind our free BaZi calculator — with true solar time correction for your birthplace. The language model only receives the finished chart and explains it. When it needs more information, it shows you a short form instead of guessing.

Each step appears in the conversation: the corrected birth time, the four pillars with their elements and ten gods, the luck pillar you are in now, and which reports go deeper.

Is AI BaZi reading accurate?

Accuracy starts with the chart. If the birth hour is wrong, the hour pillar is wrong; and if your birthplace is far from the meridian of your time zone, true solar time can move you into a different two-hour branch. That is why BaZi Agent asks for your birthplace and says so when a conclusion depends on an uncertain hour.

Interpretation is where any reader, human or AI, adds judgment. BaZi describes tendencies and timing, not fixed outcomes. Treat a reading as a structured way to think through decisions, not as a prediction you have to accept.

BaZi AI vs ChatGPT prompts

Many people paste a BaZi prompt into a general chatbot. The explanation can sound convincing while the chart underneath is wrong. The month pillar changes at solar terms, not on the first day of the lunar month. The day pillar follows an unbroken 60-day cycle. Luck pillars run forward or backward depending on gender and whether the year stem is yin or yang, and they start at an age calculated from the distance to the nearest solar term.

A general model has to estimate all of that from memory. BaZi Agent calculates it, so the conversation starts from the right chart — and you can check every pillar on the card it shows.

Members use their monthly AI chat allowance and can open eight in-depth reports: life blueprint, career, love, wealth, overall fortune, luck pillars and years, health, and monthly energy. A report for the current month is generated once and saved. Opening it again, or opening any past month, never uses another credit, and the agent always shows the cost before you open a new one.

Is BaZi Agent free?
Yes. You can chat 5 times a day without an account and 10 times a day when signed in. Chart calculation, luck pillars and almanac lookups are free. In-depth reports use the report credits included in membership plans.
What do I need for an AI BaZi reading?
Your birth date, your birth time if you know it, your gender (it decides the direction of your luck pillars) and your birthplace for true solar time. If you do not know the hour, the agent still reads the other three pillars and tells you what stays uncertain.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT for a BaZi reading?
General chatbots estimate the chart from memory and often get the month pillar, day pillar or luck pillars wrong. BaZi Agent calculates the chart with a calendar engine and true solar time correction, and the AI only interprets the result.
Is AI BaZi reading accurate?
The chart calculation is exact for the birth data you give. The interpretation describes tendencies, not certainties, and is only as reliable as your birth time. Use it for reflection and planning rather than as a fixed prediction.
Are my conversations stored?
If you are not signed in, the conversation stays in your browser only. When you are signed in, conversations are saved to your account so you can reopen them from History, and you can delete any of them there. Messages are sent to our AI provider only to generate replies. Charts you choose to save are stored in your account so you can reopen them and their reports, and you can delete them from your profile.
Can I reopen reports I generated before?
Yes. When signed in, ask to see your reports. Each one opens from its saved copy and never uses another credit.
